We put huge effort into Delphi consensuses in ORL — long hours, smart colleagues, real clinical impact.
But here’s the problem: great work loses value if reporting is often sloppy.

In our new systematic review (link below again, no hype) we found that many Delphi studies miss key methodological steps. Not for lack of expertise — just lack of shared standards.
If we want our consensus statements to hold up, be trusted, and actually guide care, we need to take reporting seriously. DELPHISTAR, Rosenfeld… whatever you choose, just use a framework.
We owe it to the science — and to our patients.
