As someone who has resisted the urge to lock my account for years, I think it's getting to a point where I don't have a choice.
I keep finding screenshots of my tweets everywhere, and people keep recognising me by my tweets in the wild.
We're coming to the end of an era

Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang has held talks with British High Commissioner to Ghana, Christian Rogg, on strengthening economic cooperation between Ghana and the United Kingdom, as well as women’s empowerment and gender equality.

Reminds me of a Foxxconn case study I read about the working conditions in the China factory being so terrible that workers were jumping off the balcony to their deaths.
Instead of addressing the working conditions, they installed nets to catch them and put them back to work

“Don’t look for me on the ballot paper. I will not be there. If you believe in the idea of a female Vice President who will serve you with integrity and diligence, look for the man who has honoured Ghanaian women. He is JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA! Vote #2!! ✌🏾

Under no circumstance should the Vice President of the Republic Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, be stripped of her fullness of person and authority and reduced to simply, “A WOMAN,” with expectations that she must be the first to jump before cameras on all conversations on women and girls.
She must be respected in her fullness as a person and as Vice President. Any view that reduces her to simply a woman to jump to the media on all gender matters is the very antithesis of why she broke the glass ceiling.

A government’s response to sexual abuse should not end at “allowing the process to work”: it should speak to victims, show people where to report, educate the next generation, and make consequences visible.
People are calling on the most powerful woman in the country to intervene in a situation where a man REPEATEDLY evaded justice for harming little girls.
He allegedly raped a minimum of NINETEEN GIRLS!
You think this is a reduction of her authority as Veep?
Nineteen victims?
