this exactly. while it is very important to raise awareness of what severe & very severe look like, it is also important for people to understand mild & the beginning stages. if i’d had a better understanding of mild ME back in 2012, i probably wouldn’t be as sick as i am today.

so damn tired of people talking as if long covid and ME is only when youre bedbound, if i had believed myself losing my abilities from the beginning and started taking precautions earlier maybe i wouldnt have gotten to this point, we dont all deteriorate from one day to the other

At this point, people really NEED to normalize bed rotting on Saturdays and Sundays. Let yourself rest without feeling guilty. Not every weekend needs to be productive. Sometimes, doing absolutely NOTHING is exactly what you need. You deserve to rest, too.
