A recent study found that 77% of all children’s books featured either white people or animals—that disparity inspired Northwestern alum Jacob Jordan to launch the Equal Opportunity Book Box (EOBB) with his classmates through @TheGarageNU. bit.ly/3gowstK

Got my 3 year old’s @equalbookbox for the month and do any of my 3rd grade Reading teachers who use ReadyGen curriculum recognize the first book??? I spent weeks reading/dissecting/having discourse about ‘Storm in the Night’ with my classes. Nice surprise to see.
