AI is being used to rapidly exploit system vulnerabilities, creating an unprecedented threat, banks, military and government sites are all under assault
The AI tool and most of the attackers are all connected to China🇨🇳 These attacks are clearly state sponsored 🔽

China-linked hackers used an AI tool to try breaking into more than 2,250 organizations, at up to 2,900 login attempts per minute. Defenders barely had time to react.
Microsoft says the group, Storm-0940, used ARTEX, an open-source AI penetration-testing framework, to automate its attack on ConnectWise’s cloud backup service. Microsoft published the attribution October 21.
The attack started with a password-spray campaign October 10-14 against 327 accounts at eight organizations, with over 151,000 failed logins. Then came the real breach. On October 15, the hackers used stolen credentials from ConnectWise’s Cloud Backup app to get into customers’ Microsoft 365 environments, bypassing individual passwords and, in many cases, MFA. In several cases, they gained privileged access in under three hours.
The targets: aerospace and defense, government, finance, energy, semiconductors, think tanks, and more.
Most attempts failed. But in many organizations, the attackers reached privileged cloud persistence, access that can survive basic cleanup. Microsoft stresses this wasn’t a flaw in its own products. It was abuse of permissions already granted to a trusted third-party app.
ARTEX isn’t new to this story. It was recently tied to breaches at South Korean financial institutions, and Microsoft says multiple threat actors now use it.
The old assumption was that sophisticated intrusions need skilled humans working slowly. This one ran at machine speed, and the only thing that stood between it and hundreds of networks was how fast defenders noticed.

Cutting off support to Ukraine, a key demand of Western “peace” advocates since 2022, merely amounts to crippling Ukraine’s ability to defend itself and assisting the army that committed Bucha.
They’re getting what they want.

Bill Maher Says Democrats Are Turning Against Israel, Accuses Them of Playing Politics With Jews and Genocide Claims Ahead of 2028.
Host: “Do you believe that Israel, in one way or another, is on the ballot in 2028?”
Bill Maher: “Oh, absolutely. It is the litmus test of the Democratic Party.
I’ve been talking about it on my show a lot. I’m sure there are people, I won’t say who, many of them are in show business, and they see themselves as social justice warriors. They just don’t know anything. They just don’t have the facts. They just don’t have any perspective.
It’s a terrible war. I proved this with facts on my show a few weeks ago. It’s not a genocide. Genocide means when you attempt to, or do, if it’s successful, kill everyone in an ethnic group. Patricide means kill your father. Homicide means kill yourself. Fratricide means kill your brother. Genocide means you kill an entire group.
Okay, just go to even the Hamas numbers. It’s terrible that 3% of the population is dead.
Many of them were the enemy. They were fighters, and a lot of the other people were civilians that the enemy purposely put in harm’s way because they fight a propaganda war that way. So no matter how you cut it, it’s horrible and tragic. It’s just not a genocide.
You’re just changing a word. You’re just taking a word and making it something new because you don’t like these people.
You can hate the Jews. You can hate Israel. You can hate Netanyahu, but just don’t lie.
And the Democratic Party is at this place now where they demand that everybody tell this lie because they know that the TikTok people, they vote now. They’re the younger people. That’s where the energy is in the party.
And they somehow got it into their head, because they don’t know history, because they weren’t taught it, that Israel is the worst country ever, when actually, in the Middle East, it’s the only place their bratty asses would ever feel comfortable living would be Tel Aviv.”
Bill Maher argues that Israel will be a major litmus test for Democrats heading into the 2028 election. He criticizes people in show business and younger voters for what he sees as a lack of historical knowledge about Israel, rejects the characterization of the war as genocide, and accuses Democrats of catering to younger voters who oppose Israel.
Maher insists that people can criticize Israel, Jews, or Netanyahu, but should not distort the meaning of genocide.

Temu just settled with Texas after being sued for harvesting data from 82+ million Americans and exposing it to the Chinese government.
Texas filed suit in February accusing Temu of secretly collecting user data, misleading shoppers on discounts and product quality, and selling items that reports linked to toxic chemicals like PFAS in clothing, toys, and baby products.
The October 16 settlement forces Temu to store Texans’ personal data on U.S.-owned servers, block China-based access except for limited shipping needs, and face independent annual audits for spyware and hidden data collection. Fail an audit and they pay another $8 million.
On products, Temu must now remove recalled or unsafe items within two business days, test commonly purchased goods every year for lead, PFAS, and other harmful chemicals, and permanently cut off any seller caught with confirmed toxic products within five days.
Temu admitted nothing. It still agreed to strict new rules and paid Texas $3 million. Texas is the first state to lock this in. Others are watching.

The problem for Lula is that he doesn't articulate well enough why he needs another four years when his party already governed for almost 18 years of the past 24
He's losing time trying to unmask Bolsonaro as a liar or corrupt. That's unlikely to move the independents Lula needs

Isabel Allende acaba de ganar un millón de euros con el Premio Planeta, a los 84 años, y lo curioso no es el premio, sino lo poco que piensa gastar.
«Ahora no quiero cosas materiales.
