I always deny how much the seasons in the Northeast can impact my mood until the sun is out in February and suddenly my veins are pumping straight adrenaline 🤣
I have had an internal roller coaster of a week but today I made some solid progress and had some epiphanies that are relieving. TGIF
In dev, I often get tunnel vision on potential solutions and overlook simpler fixes because I get locked into my own theoretical mental model on the fix. Any suggestions for how to not blind yourself to simpler paths forward?
I get to cosplay as a responsible home owner this weekend and try to fix an electrical issue in the house. Wish me luck! 😅
Learning so much from these senior devs and leads that have been incorporated into the team. I gotta remind myself that's exciting and reframe the impostor talk about how much I still don't know. I have a great opportunity here
We launch our product March first and the ramp up in team production has me as the newest person on the team looking like this daily
My partner’s son is a senior in high school and when he comes home lately he’s been spending like 30mins or so asking me about my job as a dev each day 🖤🥰
