Today I learned everything comes from a mindset.
I joined a half marathon and DNF'd. I underestimated the race and wasn’t locked in. Before it started I felt off, overconfident, and even thought about skipping. Then it happened.
I got cut 2 minutes at the 1st checkpoint. I didnt read the race gameplan, just ran with confidence and didn’t take it seriously.
It sucks but lesson learned. If it’s not a hell yes, I should take a no.
