I saw a couple of Cybercabs charging at the supercharger at Spring Creek and 121 in Plano/Frisco. Exciting! If they expand to the North Dallas suburbs soon, that’ll be epic.
I’ve never even considered the $100 a month or $300 a month SuperGrok subscriptions, but as I become more aware of how incredible and useful GrokBot is, I’m increasingly tempted.
Tesla called me around noon and told me I could come pick up my $59K Cybertruck today. They originally estimated a 2027 delivery. I told them I wouldn’t be able to pick it up today. They said it absolutely had to be picked up today due to “manufacturing laws” so they put my reservation on hold and are assigning that VIN to someone else. Felt a bit strange. But happy to be put back in the queue as I have been preparing for a 2027 delivery.

So this Grok Bot might not benefit many people, but it’s awesome for me. I have it logged into the CigarBid auction site and automatically bidding on cigars for me and it’s doing a stellar job. Plus, it looked up my entire order history so it knows exactly what cigars I like and the price point I typically buy at, so it can restock for me if I tell it I’m running low.
Had Grok Bot searching eBay for a good iPad deal for me. This was very unexpected and very cool that it caught this.

I used to play a game on my Palm Treo long ago called Dope Wars. A simple game where you buy and sell “product” and try to avoid getting caught. I used Grok Build to try and remake it. Not a bad build from a few prompts.

The last four weeks my patio has been taken over by a mourning dove nest with an egg in it. I wasn’t super happy, since it’s my cigar smoking patio, but I tried to be a good landlord. It has been a long time coming, but the egg hatched and it has been a lot of fun watching the little guy grow up. I’ll be a little sad when they move out. But I’ll be happy to have my patio back.
I hope this starts becoming the new norm. 60 superchargers is so epic. Thank you Madisonville Bucees and Tesla.

I’ve been super happy for the most part with this latest FSD version, 14.3.2. It still makes occasional stupid navigation based decisions, but it drives much better. My happiest change is highway driving. It doesn’t camp in the left lane. It seems to use better logic to determine the appropriate lane. It also gets over much earlier for exits. Some really big improvements. It’s really feeling like I’m riding in a robotaxi. It’s so smooth and so safe. I never have to intervene anymore, unless it’s preference based. Whenever I drive manually, I legit feel like “I should turn on FSD because this isn’t nearly as safe.” Thank you @Tesla FSD team. You’ve been cooking.
