Watching Manchester City vs Brighton has made me realise a few things:
โข Enzo Fernรกndez cannot keep starting. I genuinely struggle to see what he offers this team.
โข Khusanov needs to be more disciplined with his positioning. He overlaps far too much.
โข Elliott Anderson, what a baller. City have got themselves a serious midfielder.
โข Maresca's decision to bench Rayan Cherki is another questionable tactical decision. Why leave one of City's most creative players out when the team needs someone who can unlock defences?
โข Ayyoub Bouaddi deserves more opportunities. There's a very good player developing here.
โข City need to stop making costly individual mistakes.
Maresca needs to get his selection and tactics right. Having quality players means nothing if you don't use them properly.

Jรฉrรฉmy Doku has been very disappointing today. At least FOUR occasions where he couldโve played the right pass, but made the wrong decision every time.

Two clear handballs in the opposite box and it wasn't even checked. Terrible tackle on Gvardiol in their box, Haaland had to help him up and the ref just ignored it.
This isn't a fair game at all. They're basically doing everything to frustrate the club. I hope someone calls the ref to order.โ
