🔥 Achieving an accessible contrast ratio is very difficult when using white text on a colored background.
Using dark colored text on a soft colored background is much easier to make accessible, and usually looks better to boot 👌

At this point in my career I understand that a feature that only takes a few hours to build can create hundreds of hours of support and maintenance in the future. Just because it’s easy to build does not mean you should add it to your product.

Two years ago, I was saying “do you have any questions?”. Last year I switched to “what questions do you have?” It made a difference. Today I tried “ask me two questions”. And they did! And those ?s led to more ?s. It amazes me that the littlest things have such a big impact!
