I don’t get the comparison between medical doctors and Nursing as a profession, as far as compensation is concerned. Two different professions which are supposed to work in tandem to provide quality healthcare.
Now with medicine,it requires a certain level of sacrifice, either in the form of ‘time’ which you have to spend studying, monetary wise…lot of medical students graduate whilst being haunted by huge debts(student loans). An average doctor spends approximately 12 years studying
True peace is the conscious choice of self-restraint by someone who has the strength or capacity to act otherwise, rather than a state of passive weakness, hence the saying “ Only a man capable of violence can be peaceful”
This whole thing of ‘gender wars’ where women feel they don’t need men and vice versa is definitely a sign that society has been fractured and it undermines the very fact that men and women ought to live in harmony and in symbiosis.
Bro the mentality of certain colleagues in state hospitals is quite unsettling man. Can we just do that the work that we are all here to do…spare me omahapu ogendji gendji, not interested!

Your partner won’t always be at their best. Life will happen. They’ll have bad days, face setbacks and sometimes struggle to be the person you’re used to. Don’t make them feel harder to love just because life has become harder to handle. Love also means being their peace when the world feels heavy.
This is is what I talked about out yesterday when I said therapy doesn’t work on Avoidants cos only an anxious person is capable of this type of introspection and awareness, an avoidant could never
They’d rather blame you, say you’re too much for them, call you too sensitive, over reactive, manipulative, all in a bid to not self reflect cos if they mistakenly look inwards, the shame could kill them
I’m now realising I’m not actually falling in love. I just get intensely attached for a while, make someone the center of my world, romanticise everything about them and convince myself this has to be my person. Then they leave and I completely fall apart. I spend weeks or months missing them, replaying everything, wondering what went wrong and feeling like I’ll never feel that way about anyone again. Until someone new comes along. Then suddenly I’m interested again. The sadness fades. The last person becomes a distant memory and I start the whole cycle again. Maybe I’m not falling in love as much as I’m becoming attached to the feeling of having someone to focus all my emotions on. Maybe the pattern isn’t that I keep losing the right people. Maybe I keep mistaking intensity, obsession and attachment for love and I’m finally starting to notice the difference.
