I’ve had a few sneak in to my DM’s… to clarify (and pin?) I am NOT a Democrat I am NOT a Republican I take each issue and I go for the juggular as far as THAT issue. IDGAF whom supports what. Your frustration is that you can’t pigeonhole me. Don’t like it? Too fucking bad.

What happened to just having a birthday party at home? If you don't want to bother with cooking and dishes, cater it with paper plates? Still no? Go out to dinner? Still cheaper than this crap.
My friend wants to plan a couples, no-kids weekend getaway, splitting the cost of a large AirBNB, in January for her 30th birthday. I really do not love this idea (husband is mortified), neither to spend the money nor to get someone to take the toddler for 3 days. It would be a 2.5 hour drive away for us, too, so it’s not like we’re close if something happens. I haven’t been away from him for even 1 night yet and he still just seems so young! It would be very hard to leave him for that long. Am I just a party pooper who needs to get over it? Genuine question. Like I actually need advice here guys

What the actual fuck
Replying to @ethics13 @Reuters
Yes, multiple outlets including Reuters report that at his Port Huron, Michigan rally on Oct 25, Trump called Norway a “shit house country” and said he doesn’t want Norwegian immigrants because the Oslo-based Nobel committee didn’t give him the Peace Prize.

“Communism is great in theory, but doesn’t work in practice.” Still hear that a lot. But it’s like saying: “Well, the recipe is great but every time we bake a cake from it we end up poisoning everyone.” Yeah, that doesn’t sound like a great recipe actually. After many tens of millions dead, we should acknowledge that communism is bad in theory and bad in practice. It’s economic illiteracy combined with horrific ideas about establishing a dictatorship (oh, temporarily sure) and persecuting an ever expanding list of enemies, which will eventually include everyone who points out that it’s not working. The fact that it’s dressed up in sanctimonious, self-aggrandising rhetoric about freeing workers (who a lot of Marxists would shudder to have a conversation with) doesn’t make any of that better. It just provides an excuse to commit atrocities for the supposed great good - with that post-dictatorship utopia always at least one more murder away. If it can reach the point of justifying the Nazi-Soviet Pact and persecuting entire nationalities then there is no low to which it cannot sink. You know what is great in theory? Democratic institutions and norms, checks and balances, independent civil societies, freedom of speech and assembly, human rights, etc, etc. Those things are superior in theory, superior in practice, and there’s nothing remotely redeeming about those who would throw them away no matter where on the political spectrum they put themselves.

It's never enough for the commies... Look at these tax brackets LMAO So they can't raise taxes to get out of their debt, and they can't print more money because they use Euro dollar... Good bye, France. Other European countries not far behind.

Warned you. Never buy a first revision of a very different design.
The problem appears serious and could even escalate into a recall.

This is hilarious.
New 30 km/h area speed limit signs will be posted at neighbourhood entry and exit points. Once you enter a signed area, the 30 km/h speed limit applies throughout the local road network until you leave that area. Slower speeds help reduce the risk of serious collisions and make neighbourhood streets safer. Learn more about the change: toronto.ca/LocalSpeed
