Crypto is bigger than trading tokens. There are real career opportunities in the financing side of Web3. Think venture capital, fundraising, deal sourcing, DeFi research, tokenomics and business development. Projects need capital, investors need good deals. Protocols need people who understand revenue, risk and liquidity. You don't have to be a developer to build a career here. Learn the numbers, understand the market, build relationships and prove your value. The opportunity is bigger than most people realize.

AI might change crypto more than crypto changes AI. Most people are looking at AI coins, AI trading bots and the next agent launch. I think the bigger opportunity is what happens when AI becomes an active participant in the crypto economy. Here are 4 areas worth watching: 1. AI agents become economic actors Imagine an AI agent that researches opportunities, manages a wallet, executes DeFi strategies and pays for services without needing a human to approve every step. For that to work at scale, agents need programmable payments, verifiable permissions and reliable settlement. Blockchains and stablecoins could provide that financial infrastructure. 2. DeFi becomes more automated AI could help users compare lending rates, manage collateral, monitor liquidations and route transactions across protocols. This could make complex financial tools accessible to people who don't have the time or expertise to manage them manually. But better decisions aren't guaranteed. A flawed model can lose money faster than a human. 3. Decentralized AI infrastructure gains relevance AI requires computing power, data and models. Crypto networks could coordinate access to these resources, reward contributors and create open marketplaces for AI services. The real question is whether decentralized infrastructure can compete on cost, performance and reliability. 4. A new on-chain economy emerges If millions of AI agents begin buying services, exchanging data and coordinating tasks, they will need a way to transact programmatically. Stablecoins, smart contracts and agent-specific wallets could become essential infrastructure for this economy. That creates a potential source of blockchain activity beyond human speculation. The part most people are missing: AI adoption does not automatically translate into token value. A project can have impressive AI technology while its token captures very little of the economic activity. The winners will need real users, sustainable demand, defensible infrastructure and a clear reason their tokens are necessary. There are also serious challenges around wallet security, malicious instructions and autonomous agents making irreversible transactions. My thesis is simple: AI brings intelligence and automation. Crypto brings programmable money and open financial infrastructure. Their convergence could create entirely new markets. I'm watching the infrastructure that makes these systems useful, not just the tokens riding the narrative. The biggest opportunity may not be AI trading crypto. It may be AI using crypto to do business.
