I’m honored and humbled to serve as Director of Jewish Affairs for Governor Hochul. Grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the people of New York and the Jewish community. Excited for what’s ahead!

This week, I sat down for coffee with Governor Hochul at Corner Cafe in Riverdale, along with Council Member Eric Dinowitz, Assemblymember Jeffrey Dinowitz, Borough President Vanessa Gibson, and local spiritual leaders, to talk about what matters most to our families and community.
We spoke about the rise in antisemitism and what it means for the safety of our schools and neighborhood, and about the affordability of a Jewish education. New York’s recent decision to opt into the federal scholarship tax credit is a meaningful step for families who make that commitment. It gives New Yorkers the ability to direct part of what they owe in federal taxes toward scholarships that help families afford a Jewish education. It was important to share with the governor what these issues mean for our community and to feel they were heard.
A few of our SAR students happened to be at the restaurant, and they got to see something we try to teach every day: when you show up and speak up, your voice matters. This year our theme is עֵת לְדַבֵּר, a time to speak. This was one of those times.

I live in Far Rockaway, steps from Nassau County. I know Bruce Blakeman and respect his work. But after years of working with Gov. Hochul and her team, I'll be voting for her. She has been there when we needed her. Now I will be there for her.

Honored to join Governor @KathyHochul as she visited Boro Park today.
We toured Hatzolah’s HQ and monitored its new state-funded encrypted GPS radio system. We also met with yeshiva administrators who expressed their appreciation for her commitment to security funding, childcare and opting in to the federal scholarship tax credit program.
Thank you, Governor! We won't forget how you stood by us and we will always appreciate your continued support.

And it’s not by accident! Gov Hochul’s changed laws and invested $4B to get us here.
Overall crime is down 10% statewide since 2022. NYC just had one of the safest summers on record.
Nearly 60% decrease in shootings, 28% decrease in burglaries. Real results that matter.
The most important issue in New York:
2022:
Crime 28%
Inflation 20%
Protecting Democracy 14%
2026:
Cost of Living 22%
Economy 19%
Immigration 13%
That's the whole story.

NY @GovKathyHochul visited the Rebbe’s Ohel last week. I was honored to join her and prayer for New York and our country.
We discussed the Rebbe’s enduring impact and his call on everyone to fulfill their G-d-given potential and make the world a better place.

@GovKathyHochul's investments in securing Jewish institutions are well known.
Another thing to consider: The Governor's investments in child care and now opting into the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit have had huge benefits for frum Jewish institutions in particular. She is literally building up Jewish institutions; she will always defend them from harm.

crazy moment in the NY governor debate: Hochul says she wishes she pushed even harder on YIMBY policies, meanwhile, Blakeman literally *brags* about how his NIMBY policies have made housing so expensive

To anyone struggling to buy or rent a home in New York State, Bruce Blakeman just told you to accept the status quo, because it might mean a few extra dollars for Long Island homeowners. "I got mine" as governing philosophy.

Thank you to @GovKathyHochul and her team for following through on their commitment to opt in to the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit program. This decision opens the door to millions of dollars in additional educational resources and opportunities for students in public and nonpublic schools alike, without taking a dollar away from public education.
We are deeply grateful to the Governor and her team for recognizing the importance of this opportunity and ensuring that New York's children and families will be able to benefit.

Last night, I spoke with the mother of the five-year-old boy who was in the backseat when ICE agents opened fire on his father’s car.
Thank God she isn’t planning a funeral for her little boy today.
But she told me he’s normally so outgoing and talkative. Now he won’t speak. She was also terrified ICE would come after her family again.
I let her know that I’d spoken to President Trump and he confirmed that ICE would not be returning for her family.
As a mom, all I wanted to do was give her a hug and tell her this never should have happened to her family.

New Yorkers are outraged tonight. Immigrant communities are terrified. And we are demanding answers.
There is still much we don’t know about what happened in Marble Hill. But initial reports indicate ICE agents fired into a vehicle with a five-year-old child inside. Any trained law enforcement officer knows how easily that could have ended in tragedy. By the grace of God, that child appears to have escaped without physical injury.
No child should ever have to experience the terror of gunfire, let alone wonder if they’ll make it home alive. As a mother and grandmother, I cannot imagine how frightening those moments must have been.
New Yorkers have witnessed far too many acts of violence by a rogue federal agency and untrained agents that operate with impunity.
Federal authorities need to provide answers, and they must do so immediately.
