Celebrating this amazing group of teachers and TA’s who made our second year BIORETS program successful and memorable. They will take their new curriculum based on EvolvingSTEM.org and their own research back to Pittsburgh Public Schools grades 6-12 this year
Our Specific Aims are:
1. Assess program impacts on subject learning and STEM attraction in majority URM/economically disadvantaged classes
2. Reinforce curriculum accessibility and its relevance to medicine, public health, and data science
We are delighted and honored to be awarded an R25 Science Education Partnership Award from @NIAIDFunding entitled "EvolvingSTEM: authentic classroom research curriculum to enhance inclusion and agency in modern life science." Been a long haul to get here, but so worth it!
Update! Forgot to include our new partner at @unevadareno Deanna Colton 🦠🧬
