Our "international family" (Scottish/Swedish) travel fairly regularly to visit family in the nordic countries, and after travelling through Oslo airport on Sunday, I cannot hold back anymore: Edinburgh Airport @EDI_Airport is a national disgrace. A short thread 🧡 1/9

Something that is nothing to do with the practicalities of navigating the airport. Oslo Airport is architecturally beautiful. Someone has put a lot of thought and imagination into the design, and it shows. 8/9

Hey @British_Airways just arrived on delayed BA1309, have missed BA430 but an email tells me we've been auto-rebooked on BA496 tomorrow morning. What about hotel and subsistence for me and my family (inc young kids)?

Forecasters at NOAA have issued a rare Severe Geomagnetic Storm Watch for the first time since 2005. A spectacular aurora is likely Friday night and into the weekend. It's possible that satellite communications and power systems could be affected.

There's no need for me to inanely eulogise Steve Albini's passing - many others will do that - but Seamonsters by the @weddingpresent (a product of his production) remains my favourite early 90s record, perfect from start to finish, and deserves to be shared and celebrated. RIP.

Our tope satellite tag continues to drift, now 130km from the French coastline. Any assistance on it's recovery would be greatly appreciated πŸ™
Our first tope satellite tag has popped off 150km from Brest, France! Anyone out that way?πŸ¦ˆπŸ™#trackingnotslacking

Disappointed to see the (hopefully temporary) abandonment of the Aberdeen e-bike hire scheme. Great bikes, and it made getting home to Cults from an evening out only marginally slower than by taxi, but about 1/6th of the fare (and faster than the bus!) bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6p4…
