I am politely asking you to purchase my book. I can assure you, with no exaggeration, it is the best debut novel I have ever written. Thank you. #HistFic #SilentService #WW2 a.co/d/evstynr

Ghost Sharks are rolling off the production line. Payload testing is active.
Vote down-ticket, because those are the offices that have WAY more control over your daily life.
Name the president? Easy. Name your district attorney? A member of the local school board? For most of us, those are tougher questions.
And as our new video explains, that’s a problem — because, on many of the issues we care about, they have more power than the White House.

I wrote this book for people who are going to read it—or, at the very least, to read the blurb! I haven’t seen a single bot or angry and broken mush-brain in my replies even bother to address what the book is about. That’s cool; none of these people matter—and they’re angry because they know it. a.co/d/03HefKNr

After reading Brothers Karamazov, I constantly cited Dostoyevsky for everything I said.
"As Dostoyevsky put it, 'give me another slice of pizza." My friends would reply, "he never said that," and I'd look at them coldly and say, "how would you know?"

One of the first pieces I ever wrote for NR (a freelance obit for Bowie) end in this way. Clearly not a coincidence in terms of sensibility:
While I enjoyed the Norm Macdonald documentary on Netflix, I'd seen nearly every clip shown more than a dozen times. It would be better appreciated by someone who hasn't entered YT's Norm wormhole.
Finally time to trade in my battered iPhone 14 Plus. Everyone happy with their iPhone 18 Pro Max? Seems like the best option.
It’s a curse.
