factory website and docs are updated.
we added up to date documentation for the public part, along with a beta version of the private swaps documentation. it will likely keep changing as the octra network gets updated.
also, this week we are launching the public part of factory DEX for everyone who received early access. only wallets with early access will be able to test the protocol and use the faucet.
in about a week, it will become available to everyone.
factory closed beta is over.
as promised, it ran for about a week.
a few bugs turned up along the way, and all of them are already fixed. thank you to everyone who tested, we couldn't have done it without you.
the public side of factory is now open to everyone on octra devnet. to connect, use factory wallet or 0xio.

the first round of testing will last about a week, then we'll open the public part for everyone. we don't think there's any reason to rush.

they're being tested and optimized every day. it's a more complex thing that needs better preparation and infrastructure around it.
early access invites are out. we sent emails with instructions to everyone we selected.

a little intermediate update on factory
the work is pretty much done.
to be precise, the regular v3 dex was finished a while ago, around two or three weeks back, but we decided to go deeper into privacy and build something a bit unusual.
we'll share a bit more about it probably next week, and testing might start around then too.

big private defi era
defi is sitting at roughly $82B in TVL, privacy coins are commanding around $66.6B in market cap
that tells you one thing very clearly: privacy already has demand
there is still no meaningful private DeFi market
every serious player wants their wallet, positions, liquidations, treasury flows, or strategy fully private
and with FHE chains, that demand gap becomes executable
if private defi captures just 1% of the privacy market and defi market, thats a ~$666M opportunity
at 10%, you’re looking at ~$6.66B TVL in private defi
which is fully possible only on FHE chains
this is HUGE
