Today we say thank you to @WendlerTV
Ashton joined Paper Rex as Assistant Coach for the 2026 season, lending his insights and giving his all to the team. We’ll always remember all the jokes, the hours put in behind the scenes, and memories made traveling all over the world this year.
Head Coach, Alexandre “alecks” Sallé, had one last message for Wendler:
“Hey Ash, take care, thanks for the help this year. It’s unlucky we couldnt get one of the two finals, but it is what it is, I'm sure we'll be competing against each other soon!”

I couldnt have honestly asked for a better year. from kickoff, to santiago, london, and shanghai were moments ill remember forever
Everyone at Paper Rex was so friendly, took in the yapping american, and made me feel like i never left home. People ill be friends with for the rest of my life.
We had two majors in our grasp, and despite them both ending in 2nd places, im glad i could assist the team in the final year in the initial VCT era.
Everyone recommended i make the jump to Head Coach and I cant wait to see the guys on stage again, regardless of where we all end up. Please continue to support us all, and thank you to all the fans this year for your support
Until next time 🫡

An honorary SEAsian, having learned all the vital and most commonly used words like CB and bangs*t. Big respect for adapting, not just culturally, but from a game perspective as well - having learned how to coach structurally and then having to coach one of the most unstructured teams in the league. Hope to see you soon Ash 🫡
