"Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come." -- Rumi

Hey light-bearers! We remember that there are three solutions to every problem: accept it, change it, or leave it. If you can’t accept it, change it. If you can’t change it, leave it.

"For the first time in my life I saw the truth as it is set into song by so many poets, proclaimed as the final wisdom by so many thinkers. The truth - that Love is the ultimate and highest goal to which man can aspire. Then I grasped the meaning of the greatest secret that human poetry and human thought and belief have to impart: The salvation of man is through love and in love." -- Viktor Frankl (from the book 'Man's Search for Meaning')

I Am Me In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is authentically me because I alone chose it. I own everything about me, my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or to myself. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes. Because I own all of me. I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not know but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles. And for ways to find out more about me. However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore I can engineer me. I am me and I am Okay. -- Virginia Satir

Hey light-bearers! We remember that between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. (Viktor Frankl)

"Be fair with God. Perhaps He has something better for you than what you are praying for. It is a fact that sometimes your most fervent prayer and desires are your greatest enemies. Talk sincerely and justly with God, and let Him decide what is right for you. If you are receptive, He will lead you, He will work with you. Even if you make mistakes, don't be afraid. Have faith. Know that God is with you. Be guided in everything by that Power. It is unfailing. This truth is applicable to every one of you." -- Paramahansa Yogananda (from 'Living Fearlessly')

"The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. The opposite of art is not ugliness, it's indifference. The opposite of faith is not heresy, it's indifference. And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference." -- Elie Wiesel (Professor and Nobel laureate)

"Ask for repentance in your prayer and nothing else, neither for divine lights, nor miracles, nor prophecies, nor spiritual gifts -- nothing but repentance. Repentance will bring you humility, humility will bring you the grace of God, and God will have in his grace everything you need for your salvation, or anything you might need to help another soul." -- St Paisios of Mount Athos (Άγιος Παΐσιος ο Αγιορείτης)

Divine Mother, with the language of my soul I demand realization of your presence. You are the essence of everything. Make me see you in every fiber of my being, in every wisp of thought. Awaken my heart!

Hey light-bearers! We remember Krishna saying, "He who follows this imperishable path of devotional service and who completely engages himself with faith, making Me the supreme goal, is very, very dear to Me."

Solitude Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep, and you weep alone; For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth, But has trouble enough of its own. Sing, and the hills will answer; Sigh, it is lost on the air; The echoes bound to a joyful sound, But shrink from voicing care. Rejoice, and men will seek you; Grieve, and they turn and go; They want full measure of all your pleasure, But they do not need your woe. Be glad, and your friends are many; Be sad, and you lose them all,— There are none to decline your nectared wine, But alone you must drink life’s gall. Feast, and your halls are crowded; Fast, and the world goes by. Succeed and give, and it helps you live, But no man can help you die. There is room in the halls of pleasure For a large and lordly train, But one by one we must all file on Through the narrow aisles of pain. -- Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Alternate nostril breathing (also known as Nadi Shodhana) is a simple breathing technique that promotes mental and physical well-being. Several research studies have confirmed its effectiveness in lowering stress levels and increasing mental focus. Start with bringing your right hand up to your nose, you will be using your index finder to block the left nostril and your thumb to block the right nostril. A recommendation is to repeat the steps for about 3-5 minutes: 1. Block right 2. Inhale left 3. Block left also and hold your breath for a moment 4. Unblock right and exhale right, then inhale right 5. Block right also and hold your breath for a moment 6. Unblock left and exhale left, then repeat from step 2.

"See if you can catch yourself complaining, in either speech or thought, about a situation you find yourself in, what other people do or say, your surroundings, your life situation, even the weather. To complain is always non-acceptance of what is. It invariably carries an unconscious negative charge. When you complain, you make yourself into a victim. When you speak out, you are in your power. So change the situation by taking action or by speaking out if necessary or possible; leave the situation or accept it. All else is madness." -- Eckhart Tolle (from the book, 'The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment')

Granddad's Message My Child, My physical body is dead while my self lives eternally in ever present joy. The system around you is much more modern than the one I saw. The way you travel, get food, information or entertainment are all different. You also see around you scientists and popular people claiming they know better and know a lot about this world, change and the advancements of humanity. I want to tell you about a truth eternal of the existence of God, our oneness with God within a single consciousness, do not be misled into a mental state of separation and isolation. Surround yourself with nature, God's creations. They form an intelligence, information and communication network that connects you with God. Experiment with yourself in meditation and discover the truth yourself, inside and around you. Live in inner freedom of the heart, expand and fill it with love divine, do not allow it to contract in sorrow and attachment. Choose the path to God that expresses you most and fear not, knowing that an enormous power is available to you, always one thought away. Together in joy, Your Granddad
