That drive was killed by Choice running the wrong route on 1st down. Of course, 90% of the OU fans will blame that on Mateer making a bad throw. But easy to see who was to blame - Witten lit up the young receiver when he came off the field! Did Arbuckle ever get after a player?

Just add this to the list.
I know I’m an idiot but I have no idea how Arch Manning got away with an intentional grounding as they say he threw it in the area of #0 Raleek Brown

Complaining about officiating is the lowest form of take-ism. It’s the god-given right of every football fan to complain about refs. They largely do not impact the outcome of games and are administrative.
However, after watching thousands of football games in my life. This is not a fumble. It’s never been a fumble since the forward pass was invented. There is no obscure tuck rule that no one knows about. This is an incomplete pass.
And it wasn’t just this play. There were four others.
Just an egregious and infuriating afternoon at the ballpark in Columbia today.

I need someone to explain this to me. All of a sudden we have more than 1 WR. I get the new OC, but I doubt Arbuckle’s game plan was “just throw it to 1”…..so what changed?

There is no shot you can call this a fumble for a 12 yard Texas gain.
ESPN/SEC are rigging this to get Texas and Arch Manning into the CFP.

Statement from the SEC on the #Mizzou-Texas replay review that upheld the call of a 3rd-quarter fumble:
"The ruling on the field was a fumble. In replay review it was determined there was not clear and obvious video evidence that he had firm control of the ball when the hand intentionally started forward in order to overturn the call."

These refs are awful tonight in the Oklahoma/Florida game! Both ways just awful!! 😤

Not only did they miss the spot on two Mateer runs, they also missed the late hit out of bounds on this drive. What an absolute clinic in how not to officiate a sideline.

If you like line play, watch what David Stone did to two grown men on that Kip sack play. That's crazy
