The best thing to come out of the #ForeverCanadian movement was the taking back of our flag from these misfits who have found so many ways to violate it or use it for nefarious purposes. That last rally I went to, was the most patriotic thing I've see in 60+ years.

Separation of either Quebec or Alberta is not going to happen. Period. Quebec decided today to elect a "perpetual grievance" government. That's fine if you're a have-not province. Grievance gets you more gruel. But it's impossible to rise up out of - when your hands out all the time. Alberta is Canada's energy and economic darling. There is NO way to make that stronger under a constantly hanging questionmark about our investability. I am sorry to say, as many of my own friends think it's smart to just "keep Ottawa accountable" by supporting separatism as a political hammer. But choosing the self-harm of market uncertainty, what would be decades of constitutional and political quicksand, is akin to asking for cancer, to prove you can beat it. There is no upside. So the question begs to be asked; for what gain? To be and have what you are, and already have now? In what is on balance, already the best country in the world? On almost every metric. Especially when half the Alberta "separatists" don't want independence, they want Trumpism and America. They haven't really squared that circle yet for us. How stupid. They want to leave Canada to give our economic golden goose to a kleptocracy, ran by oligarchs, with no checks and balances anymore. Yeah, that's works out great for us?! What would that Alberta have today that we don't already have better than any other jurisdiction in North America? It's time to get our priorities straight Alberta and voting yes on any of this dog-whistle and firewall referendum bullshit, is only going to do more harm to ourselves. Let's bury this sentiment forever and stop legitimizing this conversation. If you're supporting a yes vote, I'll only guarantee that you are making your life harder and your opportunity lower. There is nothing else to be gained and there is no one who can even remotely guarantee I am wrong.

WTF 🫩 Not a good look…
Nine days before the referendum, Danielle Smith will be sharing a stage with two known separatists and someone who calls Indigenous deaths in residential schools a hoax. When someone shows you who they really are, believe them.

Zero trust or respect left for her… 👿
Vassy: When you say that your caucus is united, that's blatantly false. It's not. Why is this individual who wants to effectively break up the country allowed to remain in your caucus? Danielle Smith: You don't have unanimous agreement on 100% of the things 100% of the times.

This is Not a thing… Seriously… I really hate hyperbole BS #politics “When people see death as the answer to social conditions such as poverty, homelessness or isolation, we should ask whether we have failed to provide the care and support they need to live with dignity.”
Every human life has dignity, especially in moments of vulnerability. Compassion means caring for people, supporting recovery, relieving suffering, and ensuring that no one feels abandoned when they are at their most vulnerable. When people see death as the answer to social conditions such as poverty, homelessness or isolation, we should ask whether we have failed to provide the care and support they need to live with dignity. As the Pope warns, we must not allow legalized death to become a substitute for compassion.

Do Not Resuscitate orders LITERALLY work as Medical Assistance in Dying If you're against the morality of MAiD then you MUST also oppose the morality of DNR orders or even privatized for-profit healthcare 😂 If you don't believe that, then shut the fuck up about MAiD
Guns kill ~44K Americans while only ~16K Canadians choose MAiD But somehow Americans want to stop Canadians from choosing how they die, but NOT their own citizens Why? Because it would mean gun control So, immoral, pro-pedophile, pro-gun Americans can spare us their moralizing

Maybe focus on issues within your religion instead of judging people & families who are suffering. Think about how terrible it is that this has become a choice, imagine the that if you are capable of empathy 🤷🏻‍♀️
