Morocco day 2: Mostly involved driving through rural parts and asking random farmers for photos. Seen loads of donkeys used to carry/transport water and also feed for livestock. Shearing at one of the farms took two months each year and used the traditional blade shearing method.

Day 1 in Morocco. Thanks to the International Center for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas. Fun fact: ICARDA have collected seeds from Syria that were the ancestors of modern wheat. This material is still being used to develop wheat varieties for Australian farmers today 🌾
Congratulations to Kimberley stockwoman and entrepreneur Isabella Thrupp who has won the AgriFutures 2025 WA Rural Women's Award.

The video highlights what would happen without these tools and the impact to sustainable food production.
If you’d like to get involved, consider sharing the video and webpage with those in your community to help ensure what happens on farm is better understood: ggl.pub/3Otk10F
