The scariest thing isn't failing. It's looking back and realizing you never tried.

"The standard creates the culture." @ChristianYelich
When coaches enforce it, it's a rule.
When players own it, it's a standard.
When everyone lives it, it's a culture.
Culture isn't built by what you preach.
It's built by what you practice.

Coaching GOLD from Pat Murphy 🥇
“Worry is a waste of time.”
You can’t change yesterday.
You can’t control tomorrow.
Be where your feet are and focus on what you can do right now.
Make each day your masterpiece (Wooden).
Good life lesson from Pat Murphy about how worrying is a "waste of time."

A few more sights and scenes from @UKBaseball 's fall exhibition finale against Morehead State. Some good stuff from the Bat Cats today. Could be a fun team to follow in the 2027 season.

Ask a former baseball player what he misses.
You’ll hear about the dugout. Batting practice. The bus rides. The guys.
Very few mention their batting average.
Funny how the numbers feel like everything when you’re playing, and the people become everything when you’re done.

Heard a song called "He Won't" at church this morning, and it hit deep.
I've spent most of my life around baseball, and one thing I know for certain...
The storms are coming.
Slumps. Injuries. Rejection. Disappointment.
And those storms don't stop when your playing days end. Life brings its own.
Faith was never a promise that life would be easy. It's the foundation that holds when everything around you shakes.
You can't control the storm, but you can choose what you're built upon.
The storms will come. But He won't fail. 🙏

Debuted “Three Points” in the latest issue of KHSD. Will be a recurring feature once things get full steam.
It’ll be a consistent Q&A space to highlight teams, coaches and players from every area of the state. Thanks to @coachmazo for being the first!
