Run, if possible, faster than your normal pace. Your sense of urgency will decline with time. And then you start to settle, pinning it on the outcome of fate. You are unlikely to be an outlier, so exert all energy since you have it in abundance. If you feel it now, do it.

Sometimes, I see things like this and genuinely wonder what the point of life is if people are so willing to compromise their integrity. Is it for money, power, status, or what exactly? Watching the recent videos this Showunmi guy has been churning out in support of the current President, I would never have imagined that he once held this position. We are in soup!
VIDEO: THANK GOD FOR THE INTERNET. "Who is he? Were was he born? Where did he school? Which secondary school? Which primary school? What's the issue with the university? Must everything be a mystery? - @SegunShowunmi questioning President Bola Tinubu life of mystery after the 2023 elections Showunmi even called out Femi Fani-Koyede @realFFK for speaking for Tinubu during the elections. He said FFK would be ashamed of himself, but he has not only gone to join FFK, he is doing more than FFK. Wait a second, is it possible Tinubu showed him proof of all these things he questioned above when he went eat amala and gbegiri at Tinubu’s house? Man is so so shameless #TinubuMustGo

“According to all aerodynamics laws, the bumblebee cannot fly because its bodyweight is not in the right proportion to its wingspan. But ignoring these laws, the bee flies anyways.”
Breaking into the legal profession as a first-generation lawyer without connections feels like trying to enter an exclusive VIP club without a pass. You have the qualifications, but nobody seems willing to open the door.

Since 2021? And nobody has taken this up? @Hurtoonba can you please go through this? Do you think it is triable?
It's not allegation if the blockchain revealed the truth by itself. When I wrote the first expose in 2021, they reported me to my employer. My employer, as at then, asked my permission to get us on a call - "to clear things up". Odunayo said they put out that initial statement just because people were already asking for accountability - that the detailed breakdown was going to come eventually. It never did. It's been 6 years. Oh, that call kickstarted with Odufuwa issuing legal threats - I unmuted my mic & ask her to look at my face, if I looked like I was in the class of people she could bully.

No religion is greater than humanity. Not Islam, not Christianity, not Iṣẹ̀ṣè, not Judaism… Any religion that doesn’t accommodate others and/or prioritize humanity is not a good religion.

The “look, laugh and pass” is a subterfuge. Lmao what she truly intended to ask is, if the church will not behead two people caught having sex. Madam, if people do orgy on the altar in a church, no church leader is ever conceiving the idea of physically harming them, not to talk of executing them. God Almighty!!!
So if two people were caught having illicit sex in a church people will just look, laugh and pass? 🤔

Saw @mrfestusogun’s WhatsApp status and I have been laughing so hard.😂 Festus made a post of his appearance in court with his colleague. In the caption of that post, he eulogized the colleague and described the colleague as “his best friend at the bar”. Apparently, the colleague works in the office. In the next post, Festus posted where the colleague responded to the eulogy post saying “F.O I cannot work overnight o😂”. I am guessing oga was trying to lay proper foundation but the associate caught it.😂 Very cool stuff!!

Saw @NwagbaraIzuchuk’s video playing football in China. He made very two deadly assists and I thought to myself, he might be a better footballer than Rashford if properly equipped. You will know he actually understands what football is all about with the game play.

You see that respect you were accorded because you are a lawyer - it is the same way you will be accorded respect abroad. Almost anywhere you travel to. Everyone subtly adjusts the moment they become aware and you don’t even need to be qualified there. That is the kind of prestige that comes with the profession globally. And maintaining that status quo should be every lawyer’s goal. It is why I will not extend grace to any lawyer who consistently conducts himself like an Mc Oluomo publicly. You can only be one - either a lawyer or Mc Olumo. But if you think you want to be Mc Oluomo as a lawyer and reap the benefits of the profession, I will strongly oppose you.
I love being a lawyer, honestly. 😂❤️ The other day, I was on a bike when some police officers stopped my bike man and started harassing him. The man was begging, trying to make small jokes with them, but they weren’t having any of it. They kept pressuring him.

Looking through my old emails, I saw that I wrote TOEFL in 2003 at Abagbon close in Victoria Island for my study abroad application. My parents knew nothing about the process, we just had some egbon adugbos and Google. No social media. Facebook started in 2004 Youtube 2005 Twitter 2006 You need extra grit as a poor young African. Your journey is full of turbulence, but with the right guidance, you go make am.

What a guy! All the best with this, my bro.
Today we're launching useABI, an associate built for M&A teams. In under three years as an M&A associate at Greenberg Traurig in New York, I worked on 45+ deals worth $15bn+. On deal after deal, the client wanted to move faster and the best partners I worked with wanted to take on more. I started useABI to give M&A teams the capacity to do both, especially when the stakes are high and the timeline is tight. useABI gives every lawyer on the deal an associate their firm owns and teaches. You brief it the way you'd brief a midlevel associate, and it works the deal with your team from the seller's draft to closing, in your firm's own positions and drafting style. Your lawyers review every piece before it goes to a client. useABI is being deployed at a leading AmLaw 100 firm. Starting today, M&A lawyers can request access at useabi.ai, and clients can request access for their attorney on the same page. Thank you to @bobambrogi for covering our launch on LawSites this morning (link in the first comment), to my co-founder @F_I_L_S, and to every lawyer who has given us their time and honest feedback this year. Do more M&A. useABI.

Independent thinking matters. Even when you’re wrong, you can understand where your reasoning went wrong. Rather than simply moving on to the next popular opinion.

There’s a lot to be said for developing independent, well-thought-out and grounded views on issues. Too often, I see opinions that contradict principles the same people have previously accepted.
