There is very little clear footage of flight 11 flying over manhattan and striking the north tower. Practically none exists in fact. But we have Jules Naudet’s footage, that not only captures this rare event, but actually follows firemen into those very towers that ultimately became perhaps the most famous unintended film and documentary ever created. Jules is tagging along with batallion chief Joseph pfeifer as they respond to a mundane gas leak call at church and lispenard. The firsr couple minutes is pretty boring, regular Tuesday morning work. Beautiful sunny day, twin towers in the background. Until 1 min 45 sec into the footage can you can an unusually low jetliner flying directly over manhattan. Everyone looks up in confusion, and what they see next changed America forever.
