Klopp in December- "I don't think Mr Simeone is running through his living room and is happy he got Liverpool" He didn't run through his living room Jürgen, he ran through Anfield.

🚨💰 Barça have been fined €602 following Atlético Madrid's complaint to the RFEF regarding how the Julián Alvarez saga was handled. The fine was imposed under Article 133, which deals with: “Failure to comply with orders, instructions, agreements, or regulatory obligations.” [via @mundodeportivo]

💣🚨 MAJOR BREAKING - JULIÁN ALVAREZ APOLOGISES TO THE ATLÉTICO MADRID FANS IN THE POST-MATCH! "I apologise to our fans. They have always been very generous with me. It was neither the right moment nor the right way to handle things. If I were a fan, I would have been angry too. Now, it’s time to compete for EVERYTHING."

I don’t even think this is as much about the save as it is about the miss. He had the whole goal gaping and he hit it in the grateful hands of Oblak. It’s actually a divine intervention I need to take a walk.

FT. 1-0 Atleti SOMEHOW hang on for 3 crucial points. It was way more complicated than it ever should have been and this is a lesson for Atleti, one that we should consider ourselves grateful for not coming at the expense of 2 points. A win is a win, and this an important one.

Deeply unserious half from Atleti and when you consider there’s a Clasico tomorrow it’s even more infuriating
