Great to see reallocation of road space to the right place!

Fantastic news. It looks like the value of delivering parcels on foot compared with bike just got a lot better! Thanks to @DubCityCouncil for supporting @UPS_Ireland and Fernhay eWalker trials (and producing this great video!) linkedin.com/feed/update/urn…
Pedestrians galore today. Our pedestrisation of the Grafton Street area is underway. Plenty of space to have a wander around. #Dublin #covidmobility #walkdublin

Good to see positive chatter around Fernhay's work with @DubCityCouncil @smartdublin @SBIRIreland and @UPS_Ireland to shift freight from vans to delivery by walking and cycling.
When cities like @DubCityCouncil give space over to people to walk and cycling, we must consider doing the same for freight. @PeterHarrisUPS highlights this need and @jcudden @Entirl has driven the vision with us.
UPS is bringing a zero emissions walking and cycle based system to Dublin, which optimises deliveries in city centres. Funded by @DubCityCouncil, @Entirl & @belfastcc and designed by @fernhay as part of a @SBIRIreland challenge, we’ve redefined last mile delivery. Learn more:
Forward thinking @DubCityCouncil supports companies that want to make positive change. Here they opened up Dublin city to lead the way for walking based last mile city logistics.

More production releases for Fernhay by peak 2020 as a result of being awarded a grant by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency as part of the call for Business-led innovation in response to global disruption. fernhay.com/news
The unprecedented increase in deliveries brought about by Covid-19 needs to be delivered by walking and cycling. We are happy to be a part of the journey, having been selected by Innovate UK for grant funding from over 8,600 entrants. fernhay.com/news
It’s great our city leaders are supporting people walking and cycling. But when a city is closed to vehicles, how will we deliver freight at scale? That’s where our award from Innovate UK comes in handy! fernhay.com/news; #innovate
Very good point. My average speed on a @fernhay eQuad is far higher than a van in a city, and I can guarantee to be somewhere within mins of a time slot even if it is miles away
Hi @PedalandPost is that because SUV's cause the most accidents and injury to vulnerable road users compared to any other car, or because they have a complete disregard for laws including double yellow parking on a cycle lane? 😊
We get questioned as to why we're so critical of @OxfordshireCC and it's implementation of cycle infrastructure / enforcement in Oxford
This one photo perfectly sums up our frustrations of 16 million being worth nothing if one SUV is capable of this
Fantastic news for Fernhay! Just awarded a grant from Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency as part of the Business-led innovation in response to global disruption competition. fernhay.com/news; #innovate; @Karla_Jakeman;

Still life is OK, but a film is how we should think about innovation. We have been directing and innovating our system for over 3 years and the characters, the Fernhay eQuad and Cube containers are now visible to the viewer ow.ly/yBXo50A9rA3
The 2m3 @Fernhay eQuad rolls out in Autumn for peak 2020. As well as volume we have many improvements to increase parcel drop rates that @UPS_UK have requested. I'd love to deploy Fernhay in Oxford as we are just down the road, but I cant speak for my friends plans.
This narrow cycle way shows the value of @fernhay eQuad freight bikes which carry 2m3 of volume but are only 840mm wide 😊. Trikes are typically between 950mm and 1200mm wide so rarely go between bollards or on narrow cycle ways without upsetting fellow cyclists.

If only the Audi driver was on a @fernhay eQuad they could have driven between the bollards and not over. That's why we made eQuad only 840mm wide 😆
A magnificent performance from our bollard. Note how it keeps on flashing.....
