Every horror trailer wants to be 28 years later (2025) so bad but they could never be her sorry boots

"Boots" is of course a reference to the Rudyard Kipling poem/Young Fathers composition featured in the world famous 28 years later trailer

"Artist" became "creative" which became "maker". What word will replace "maker" in the decline of culture

it seems like a lot of discourse on here just represents a divide between people who like their friends and are always willing to do them a favour and people who are constantly engaged in psychological warfare with everyone they meet
there is truly another world out there

Idk I think if you're the kind of person who gets mad that a film you don't like has a higher letterboxd rating than a classic then the way you engage with those things is probably quite boring to begin with and not dissimilar to caring about stream numbers

Kubrick also doesn't need the approval of letterboxd users, no one needs to go to war for a director who is already considered one of the greatest

I agree with the sentiment but I don't think Gladys and Longlegs fit into this. I think they're just creepy people who happen to smile sometimes
I know I'm not the first person to say this, but the 'creepy smiles' gag is a saturated market these days. Just let it rest for a little bit, maybe a decade. Try out another idea.

Say less. I’ll be there.
OTHER MOMMY is truly dreadful. Despite one of the silliest horror plots of the year and a woeful script, it takes itself so staggeringly seriously. An endless parade of ineffective jump scares, awful CGI, and a finale that drew unintentional laughter several times. #OtherMommy

The trend of quote tweeting a tweet to repeat the stupid part of it is funny sometimes but most of the time it's just people smugly pointing out the obvious part which everyone would have already understood as funny and ends up being more annoying than the og tweet
