Cela dit, je vais jouer les rabat-joie : les Américaines ont mis du temps à trouver leur rythme, et c’est normal. Elles n’avaient eu que 4 entraînements avant le match de ce soir. Le Canada en avait eu 8, en plus de 2 matchs intraéquipes. Pour 19 des 20 patineuses américaines, il s’agissait d’un premier match depuis 5 à 7 mois.
Les deux équipes n’abordaient pas ce match avec les mêmes objectifs.
Je m’attends donc à un match bien différent vendredi. Et lorsque les deux équipes se retrouveront en finale du Championnat mondial, ce sera encore plus différent.

As an adopted Michigander, I am generally fully on board with the “fuck Ohio” vibe, but, I must confess: I really do love the recently built/renovated rest areas along I-75. Beautiful landscaping, nice bathrooms, Narcan kits, info about local things/native plants. 10/10.
