I usually hate promoting things
But this one I could not resist ...
Every time I read a research paper, I download it and get some ugly filename and I tell myself I’ll organize it later.
This was an unsolved problem for me till I found Filently : )
Now I just dump things at one place and get everything sorted
and it's Kinda wild when the product you are building actually fixes your own problem.
Yay !! We’ve been accepted into Anthropic’s Claude Startup Program! 🎉
Thanks to @AnthropicAI
Time to cook something bigger now !
The best startups aren’t built from a perfect plan.
They’re built by launching early, listening closely, and fixing what’s missing.
We’re learning this firsthand at @filently .
Spoke at @moin_camp's founders dinner in Zurich – dining between cars.
What we got wrong in year one of @filently:
→ 300 on the waitlist. I called zero.
→ Your use case isn't the market.
→ Launch early, but good enough that users stay and tell you what's missing.

A good product doesn’t just work , it makes its value obvious.
Filently files and renames your docs automatically, using the system you already have.
Now we’re building Deep Clean to go one step further: To understand your messy Drive and propose a structure that fits.

We just shipped our first comparison page: @filently vs. renamed.to, one of our strongest competitors.
One rule: wherever they're better, the page says so. 👇
Filing 20 invoices shouldn’t mean 20 clicks ⚡️
Filently now lets you filter, select, and file documents in bulk.
And if they arrive by email, Gmail can feed them into Filently automatically.
Less clicking. Less filing. More done.
Your files should organize themselves. Try @filently for free 👇
Google couldn't out perform us , even after building it's own Zapier
We tested it on documents and Gemini correctly understood a photographed receipt, extracted all the details, and filed it in the right folder.
Except it was still called IMG_9762.pdf. 🫣
That pretty much sums up the gap:
Google can understand your documents, but organizing the mess you already have is still surprisingly hard.
That’s exactly why we’re building Filently.
