Last week at @FIU, @GovRonDeSantis announced $2 million in funding from the @CaseyDeSantis Florida Cancer Innovation Fund to expand patient access in personalized cancer treatment technologies!
The grant supports @firstascentbio First Ascent Biomedical, co-founded by @fiustempel's Dr. Diana Azzam, by generating clinical data to support @US_FDA approval and accelerate nationwide adoption of the tech.

Today, @GovRonDeSantis and First Lady @CaseyDeSantis awarded $2 million from the Florida Cancer Innovation Fund to the partnership between FIU and First Ascent Biomedical.
These funds will enable @FIU researcher Dr. Diana Azzam and her lab to strengthen cutting-edge cancer research, develop technologies, and take those technologies from the lab directly to patients to provide them life-saving treatments.
