Also I just wanna say this was not meant as a writers vs readers talking point 🧍 I am both a writer and long time reader and I think 95% of people engaging with fanfic are respectful and kind and understand we’re all just making fun stuff in the dollhouse together.

Idk i just feel like when ao3 is back up I need everybody to be heaps more graceful towards fic writers because if two weeks without their works is painful then maybe we shouldn't be discoursing weekly about how much you think they suck at writing.
