🐈: It's a series adapted from a novel
🐈⬛: We've heard that the novel have received a lot of attention and we've seen that fans are looking forward to the series. All six of us will do our very best to bring it to life
🐈: I think that when we actually get to filming, there will be more work that we need to do. We need to work on the story itself, including reading the novel, so that we can picture the story in the same way the fans who have read the novels do
🐈⬛: I think we'll really need to do quite a lot of research and studying. That includes the story and its basis in the novel, as well as the way we speak and the way we act. We'll have to wait until the pilot is filmed to see how far the script will go. Then we'll do some research and homework based on that
👤: And what about the essence of being a Khun Chai? (a noble)
🐈: I don't think it will change too much, based on the setting we've discussed. But it won't be quite like the present day
🐈⬛: As for what it means to be a Khun Chai, personally, I feel that if we're going to play this kind of character, we should at least have some of the foundations of a Khun Chai within us. It's not something where we can simply say “I'm going to play a Khun Chai” and immediately know how to portray one. It's something that's been instilled in a person since childhood—how they should walk, how they should take their steps, standing tall with their chest out and shoulders back, keeping their back straight and not hunching their shoulders, things like that.
I really think it's something that needs to be practiced
👤: Is it difficult to be a Khun Chai?
🐈⬛: It's difficult! Because up until now, I've only been given roles where I have to struggle through life. Roles where it's like "I have to fight! I have to keep fighting!"
🐈: It’s difficult because I've never really played a Khun Chai before either. So, that's how it is. There are probably quite a few things we'll need to work on together
