Unfortunately Wayne all the news management team at @BBCNews are active supporters of far right politics. Frankly it's disgraceful and has been allowed by @lisanandy for far too long. The BBC should impartial and report the news, they are not.
For the love of God can we stop with this nonsense that people are claiming PIP for mild ADHD, it simply doesn’t happen but people in positions of influence are allowed to spread this nonsense on national TV without any pushback from journalists. It’s infuriating #BBCBreakfast

Violette Szabo was parachuted into occupied France in April 1944 to work with the ‘Salesman’ network.
When the circuit was compromised, she made a daring escape back to Britain.
She returned by parachute in the days before D-Day, only to be captured forty-eight hours later.
After brutal torture, she was executed.
Will you remember her?

“Trump Has Been on Putin’s Side All Along”: US General Delivers Scathing Criticism
Retired US Lieutenant General Ben Hodges has sharply criticized Donald Trump over his handling of Ukraine. Speaking on Ukraine’s United News telethon on the 1+1 channel, Hodges accused the US president of effectively siding with the Kremlin over the past two years.
Among the examples he cited were delays in delivering Patriot interceptor missiles, the suspension of ballistic missile warnings, problems involving Starlink, and Putin’s invitation to the G20 summit.
According to Hodges, Trump has repeatedly avoided criticizing Vladimir Putin while putting pressure on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The general also pointed to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statements concerning possible Ukrainian territorial concessions.
Hodges described this approach as a strategic mistake that has placed the US administration “on the wrong side of history.”

While other areas can look forward to seeing some progress from devolution in Hull & EY we are stuck with a Reform stooge, who is totally out of his depth.
