Marvel Rivals is cracking down on mods that can give players a competitive advantage.
NetEase says some mods use memory injection or techniques similar to cheat engines, triggering anti-cheat detection.
Violating mods include:
>Changing models or textures to create unfair line-of-sight advantages
>Removing weapon recoil, screen shake, bullet effects or impact VFX
>Changing footsteps or audio to make enemies easier to locate
>Enlarging enemy models to make them easier to spot
Players suspended over the past two days for these specific mods have had their suspensions lifted.
However, this does NOT mean these mods are allowed. NetEase says players should stop using and delete them.
NetEase specifically warned about .asi files such as pystubber.asi and MarvelRivalsUnmountBlocker.asi, which can trigger anti-cheat detection.
