The SFV branch showed up to her canvass and her campaign literally told us to move out of the way. This sort of treatment burns out our leaders and makes our organization weaker. We should not be okay with disrespect towards our members.

the global armament of Ukraine was the largest military aid effort in terms of value since Lend-Lease
absent from this 'discourse' is the fact that SoR seemingly introduced its resolution around Raman by October 20th and then, to my knowledge, kicked the can down the road a week with a seemingly useless extension!

We donβt disagree on that. Our current βpragmatic,β moderate Mayor terribly mismanaged our budget and Iβm excited for some good βDSA-typeβ governance to end patronage and corruption, make our services more effective, and make sure our tax dollars go further.

thoughts on raman: needle on the 'DSA left' needs to bend away from overreliance on procedure. this has happened on several occasions now (most blatantly with raman, R22, and the AOC endorsement process) by treating the process as a referendum on a political matter
there is going to be a victory lap by everyone involved. some the DSA left / partyists are willing to say we got her to move a bit on palestine, which is not insignificant. the right will say we avoided a org splitting decision. this is fine. but again,

I do not say this lightly: I am tired of this histrionic bullshit about a damn mayoral election in which we're arguing about some lib that finally agreed to BDS as a bare minumum

I think the most disappointing part about Nithyaβs campaign is how disorganizing it has been both for our chapter and nationally. This was the most contentious endorsement in chapter history. If Iβm not excited (as a DSA sicko) about her campaign, why would average Angelenos be?

months of cut throat debate and increasing animosity that culminates in the NPC kicking the can down the road fermenting even more division in the Org. sensical is not a word I would use to describe this process
if that's your conclusion from a genuinely heartbreaking vote that saw the worst political maneuvering come out full force, i'm sorry, but you are out of your mind
