Clark Backo on working with Noah Reid in YAGA via @ashotmagazine!
“From our first FaceTime, we just immediately understood that we were on the same page. We knew shooting was going to be tough, but it was clear that we were going to be here for each other, anyway.”
Reid would spend their off moments entertaining the set with his character’s alter ego, Tony Rapp, who Backo tells me about with a devilish grin, confessing that “he hates when I bring it up, but he’s not here, so I can do it.” (Her advice, should you ever meet Reid: “Try to get Tony out, please.”) In its entirety, partnering with Reid is an experience she calls one of the greatest joys of her career. “I don’t always get to say that about a project,” she admits. “But I really mean it with this one.”

disrespectfully and with hate in my heart but i do think some of y’all are stupid for continuing to engage with hr if you think hollanov shouldn’t be together, like it’s a romance book/show the point is quite literally that they’re together and they’re happy together.

Shane's
Because if not they would be having angry sex. But this is happy sex because Shane is excited and ilya's happy because Shane's happy.

I love this actually and she’s completely right! Hudson understood right away what this show is about and the fact that he was down for wtv to recenter women and give ‘power for the witches’ tells a lot about him as a person and as an actor at the same time.

like i said: in choosing 2 back-to-back projects that went on to receive critical praise, Hudson killed any doubt in his ability to choose a good script, his acting abilities (2 distinct roles) AND his choice to stay in Canada instead of immediately running to Hollywood.
Hudson Williams is receiving critical acclaim for his portrayal of Henry Park and Logan Casey in ‘YAGA’!
This is Hudson's first project following his award-winning performance in ‘Heated Rivalry’, and he has exceeded expectations, showing sensational versatility, passion, and dedication. We cannot wait to see everything he has to offer in the remaining six episodes of ‘YAGA’. 💓
