Just now on SW Flight #1496 Burbank to Las Vegas.
Pilot had to dive aggressively to avoid midair collision over Burbank airport.
Myself & Plenty of people flew out of their seats & bumped heads on ceiling, a flight attendant needed medical attention.
Pilot said his collision warning went off & he needed to avoid plane coming at us.

We are continuing to process data from receiver sources individually. Additional processing confirms #AI171 departed using the full length of Runway 23 at Ahmedabad. RWY 23 is 11,499 feet long. The aircraft backtracked to the end of the runway before beginning its take off roll.

DAMNING NEW INFO on Thursday near misses involving two DCA flights and an Army Black Hawk. FAA says helo “did not proceed directly to the Pentagon” and instead “took a scenic route around.”
Closest distance to Republic 5825 was “0.4 miles and 200 feet.”
This involved *the very same* Army unit involved in the fatal DCA midair collision.

The FAA issued a charting notice today, revising the available helicopter routes in Washington DC. The new chart removes route 4 and 6 in the vicinity of DCA airport. flightradar24.com/blog/fligh…
