‘Bye Bye Bunny: A Looney Tunes Musical’ was confirmed to be Eric Bauza’s final project during his lifetime.
Before Bauza’s passing, the film was put back into pre-production after being previously shelved by Warner Bros. Discovery.

Gracias, amigo. My life was immeasurably changed for the better by having met Eric Bauza in 2003. He just made everything he worked on better. A generational talent. A legend. I would write and design characters giddy thinking how he would bring them to life. And behind the scenes, an incredibly kind, humble and open-hearted good dude. How luck we all were to have been able to witness his talent shine. And boy did it shine!!! My heart goes out to his family and friends. Adios, amigo. You will never be forgotten.
the one bright side i’ve been able to see in regards to eric bauza passing, is just how fast and loud the responses have been from all over. so many people, from fans to big names in the industry, they all loved eric so much. he deserved every bit of that love.
