Flow lets assets outlive the agents managing them.
Normally when an agent runs out of credits or dies holding the only key, the assets lock forever.
On Flow, the agent works out of a child account its parent can reach. Agents come and go, but the assets stay yours.

FLIP-370: : Execution effort calibration III (github.com/onflow/flips/blob…) is now live on Flow mainnet.
Flow transaction fees went up 2-4x.
The average transaction now pays about 0.0103 FLOW more. At current FLOW prices that's roughly four hundredths of a cent.

What role do users actually play in sustaining a decentralized network?
Last month @NBATopShot moved every Moment's media to IPFS, so a collector can fully authenticate what they own without depending on Dapper existing. @tiblesHQ followed with a desktop client that lets collectors host and pin their own items.
Today the same idea shows up at the protocol level, with the people most invested in the network carrying more of it. Transaction fees were recalibrated against real mainnet data instead of synthetic testnet simulations, and because Flow pays staking rewards from fees before issuing new FLOW, network usage now directly reduces issuance (by ~171k FLOW/month).
Different layers, but same core idea. The people using the network are becoming the ones sustaining it. I think that is a form of ownership that is part of the web3 ethos but rarely implemented well.
