...amazing team of instructors who have been in the trenches w/ me, working w/ our fantastic clients who keep putting their trust in us, inspire me to push forward through the difficulties. We've had more certifications this year than ever before with no sign of slowing down!

Six years ago today, I filed the paperwork to bring back Queen City Flying Service after the first one disappeared in Jan '71. It has been a ride that puts any 🎢@KingsIslandPR to shame, & there have been many times we've nearly met the fate of our predecessor. However, the...

Ever wondered what an airplane stall actually looks like? 🤔 Watch the yarn on the wing, it reveals the airflow. As the angle of attack increases, the airflow separates, lift drops, and the wing stalls.

Thanks once more to Pilot Services of Ohio for working us into their busy shop schedule to knock out 222’s 100-hr inspection before this weekend’s checkrides. The a/p issue was diagnosed as a fried control box. It’ll remain deactivated until the owner decides to replace it.

Hey, Sam, we can help with the flying part. 😀
Prom season is in full swing, and a Mason High School senior made a grand gesture by asking his girlfriend to prom with a message flown over school! ✈️💐 wlwt.com/article/mason-senio…

To say we’re proud of Wittley Williams would be a massive understatement! She had to apply for a medical waiver and then take essentially a checkride with an FAA examiner to get the waiver. Armed with that experience, she crushed Stage 1 and has reached FIRST SOLO!!!

We have a Brand! New! Website! It's not fancy, but it’s current. We'll keep adding and refining, and eventually link our billing and scheduling systems to it. Huge thanks to Michael Brands for all the time and effort he put into it this summer and fall. queencity.aero

We went to the ⁦@EAA⁩ Chapter 373 breakfast fly-in today at I61. Love our ⁦@Cessna⁩ fleet but there’s no denying the cool factor of a ⁦@piperaircraft⁩ Cub! instagram.com/reel/DJfn1Tos4…

Yes, it’s been a tough past few weeks in the news for aviation. No, these accidents have nothing to do with the new occupant of the White House. It is still far, far safer to fly in airliners or in our training fleet versus driving.

That is a beautiful sight! It’s amazing when you’re able to visualize the wake turbulence, landing gear drag and massive vortices created by a 747 in the landing configuration! When tower tells you “caution wake turbulence heavy 747” you’d better pay attention!
