This campus could have been built in NY if we adopted a pro-business sensible tax policy approach to our residents. Instead, we vilify our most successful business leaders and make it challenging to do business here.
Miami is in the early innings of a generational transformation. A new 35 acre Carnegie Mellon campus with 3,500+ students focused on AI, robotics, computer science and engineering will accelerate it. Miami will become one of the most important technology and innovation hubs in the world.

Felt like this call embodied a lot of John Sterling. Timely, creative, and a sprinkle of whimsy that made listening to the games he called so special.

.@ZohranKMamdani, you want to balance NYC’s budget? You can do it without raising taxes. $3B fixing homeless spending $2B cutting overtime abuse $2B procurement reform $2B DOE efficiency $1B housing fraud enforcement That’s $10B. It’s not a revenue problem. It’s a management problem. Call me. I’ll walk you through it.
Government must deliver for working people—and every dollar in our budget should work as hard as they do. That’s why I directed every agency to cut waste and help close our budget gap. Here’s some of what we found.

I'm not a sports guy but it seems to me that this kind of genuine unbridled emotional joy, generated by actual human achievement, and not data centers, is something we really need to see these days.

This is probably my favorite breakdown of the Thunder defense anyone has had. Really really good analysis on the Thunder defense from Iman Shumpert here. via @shumpstreetpod

Sweden and Norway - the two benchmarks for democratic socialism - have way more billionaires per capita than the United States. Why shouldn’t billionaires exist? Almost every billionaire (that earned their wealth themselves - which is nearly all of them), became one by making your life significantly better.

Capitalism's unequal distribution of prosperity is far better than socialism's equal distribution of misery. Experience keeps proving it.
Zohran Mamdani: “I don't think that we should have billionaires.” Do you agree? Is there a point in being a billionaire besides for power?

Mamdani’s mother is a world-famous, Academy Award-nominated Bollywood director worth tens of millions of dollars. His father is a chaired professor at Columbia. He is, in effect, a perpetual theatre kid who’s pretending to be “Third World.” It’s all so, so performative + stupid.
Zohran says his worldview is inspired by the 3rd world while eating rice with his hands

In another timeline, Hillary Clinton wins. Merrick Garland becomes a Justice. RBG retires. Anthony Kennedy doesn't. There is no Gorsuch. There is no Kavanaugh. There is no Coney Barrett. These are the consequences of ONE election.
