i need 3 people who can eat/sleep/breathe support ticket management. This role is MANAGING AGENTS, not being an agent. 8 hour shifts.
I legit wanted to vomit when I realize how many customers got mishandled by our customer service in the past week. I am going to fix it by giving them free packs and apologizing
What I need to fix is our agents will get lazy and "escalate" a ticket that never gets claimed and sits in the abyss. Or even worse they initially respond to a customer then ignore. This to me is an immediately fireable offense.
Our customers are our life blood. I just watched another founder in my timeline defend his terrible customer service by making excuses. There are NO excuses. Customers are always right, even if that means swallowing pride at times and eating glass.
This kind of nonsense can NOT happen. If you want to MICROMANAGE THE HECK out of my CS agents I want to talk to you. I need you so far up their a**, you're the first to know if they fart.

Back in 1999, I bought my first Pokémon cards from a street vendor on Fordham Road in the Bronx.
If you're from the Bronx, NY, you probably remember Adam's card stand. The beat up van, the folding tables on the sidewalk, and Pokémon cards everywhere.
I know I can't be the only one who remembers this guy!

I think the market is slowly starting to differentiate between digital pack ripping platforms.
Groups that were formerly top players are losing customers and communities fast.
Most undifferentiated new entrants are struggling to gain scale. A couple new entrants that have found their niches are growing fast.
This signals to me that most communities and the average consumer are slowly getting better at noticing the differences in pack value, chase card quality, customer rewards/VIP journeys, white glove service, shipping costs and speed, and more.
We only launched in mid June (soft launched in May). We have not stopped growing and a lot of our best customers have come over as dissatisfied super users of other products.
There will be a clear top 5 soon and then “everyone else.” And what’s exciting for me is that our team is just getting started.
