Last July, we launched a new multi-partner project in #Nepal with @HopeandHomesRW, @fmnsays and The Himalayan Innovative Society. We're working with two municipalities to develop a community-owned model of #FosterCare with the hope that, it can be scaled up across the country.

Decades of research demonstrate that #orphanages can significantly harm children's development & life outcomes. Yet an estimated 8 million children live in orphanages even though 80% have a living parent they could be reunited with and raised by, given the proper support.
