This high blood pressure is not normal, it is the direct result of this isolation.
If he is not freed soon he will die in this cell.
And Munir will be the killer.
Statement from Rubina Khan, sister of @ImranKhanPTI , 3 Nov 2026:
– On 2 Nov his lawyer was allowed a brief meeting at Adiala Jail, the first in 7 months.
– Khan reports his blood pressure spiked to 192. He never had high BP, and it was normal a year ago. The family's medical advisors say developing it suddenly at 70+ is virtually unheard of.
– He says the problems began only after more than a year of total isolation, and accuses those holding him of trying to kill him by withholding proper treatment.
– The family demands his immediate admission to an independent hospital in Islamabad, with his personal doctor present.
– A Supreme Court order from August 2026 for treatment at Shifa International Hospital has still not been implemented.
– He survived multiple attempts on his life before jail, including being shot several times in the leg, one bullet narrowly missing his femoral artery.
– If anything happens to him now, the family says, it will be cold-blooded murder.
The UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention has declared his detention arbitrary. @UNHumanRights @UN_SPExperts @amnesty @amnestysasia

Its funny because all those men and some women who have objection to this are products of hookup culture. Not trying to develop a bond and going into intimacy first. All good women must stay away from men qouting this twt, they are sick (ready to hop onto sm1 the first night) 🙏🏻
Tried reading the whole tweet
I have long harboured reservations about the ideological trajectory of Pashtun nationalism. What increasingly concerns me is its apparent transition from legitimate ethnic consciousness towards an exclusionary ethnonationalism characterised by chauvinism, absolutism, and an alarming intolerance of difference. Among us, ideological moderation often appears to be an intellectual casualty. We embrace religion, nationalism, and democracy with such unrestrained fervour that their underlying principles are frequently subordinated to dogmatic interpretations.
Consider the case of this young man from Waziristan who has married a Punjabi woman. His marriage has now become a subject of public controversy, with people questioning why he chose to marry someone from Punjab. This is deeply troubling.
History offers a chilling parallel. Under Adolf Hitler's Nazi regime, the Nuremberg Laws of 1935 institutionalised racial discrimination and prohibited marriages and sexual relations between Jews and people classified as being of German or so called Aryan blood. The Nazi racial ideology regarded Jews as racially inferior and portrayed intermarriage as a threat to the supposed purity of the German race. These laws were part of a broader machinery of persecution that ultimately culminated in genocide.
Today, it is alarming to see similar ethnocentric tendencies emerging within our own society. We have become so consumed by ethnic chauvinism that the mere mention of Punjab or Punjabis is enough for some people to strip them of their humanity, dignity, and individuality. When an individual's right to choose their life partner becomes subordinate to ethnic identity, we are no longer talking about cultural preservation, we are talking about racial exclusivism.
A nationalism that dictates whom one may love, marry, or associate with is no longer merely nationalism, it is a dangerous descent into ethnic authoritarianism. We must recognise where this trajectory leads before intolerance becomes normalised and bigotry is repackaged as collective pride.
Was having a really shitty day and then I came across this tweet. Day made😍
