1% for the trenches - ft. @prevaile0
In continuing fomo tradition, Prevaile has gifted $1K to JohnDoe77
@fomo has matched $500, bringing the total amount to $1.5K
Breached the top 100 on @fomo and wanted to keep the 1% to the trenches tradition alive. Sent a grand to @.johndoe77. Let’s win.

No consumer financial platform has gone fully mainstream because people join and have no clue what to do
People discovery through people

building a consumer app is hard… really hard.
fomo has always tried to do things the right way. this often means sacrificing growth and revenue in order to do the harder thing.
we’ve never done things to take shortcuts, such as:
- points programs
- paid trading deals
- fake/inflated incentives
we try everything to make sure users get the best experience, whether this means working closely with infra partners or working to build it ourselves. we pay routers commercially to NOT take positive slippage. we work to get rebates for traders. we pay creator rewards to those who provide value.
we do not get everything right. truthfully, no one does.
the entire team looks at every single piece of feedback daily. we commit to continuously learning & always trying our best. we constantly feel like the product is far from perfect and this is likely a feeling that never goes away when ur building a company.
good things take time. great things take a while.
