𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 Heath was really happy and excited to bond with the animals and spend time with them in the shelter but during this moment, the cat’s claws accidentally grazed him. At first, he didn’t even realize that he had been grazed but it was immediately noticed by all of us. He was immediately brought to the washing area to wash and disinfect it and was also assisted by the whole team to immediately receive the necessary vaccination shots as a precaution. We also ensured that all recommended follow-up care after the shot was completed, including the necessary succeeding vaccination shots and all other precautions advised for his continued safety and well-being. To further put our minds at ease, right there and then, the shelter provided the cat’s complete vaccination records, confirming that it was fully vaccinated and well cared for. Our team also regularly checked in and asked for updates from Mommy Jem regarding Heath’s well-being. We are grateful to share that throughout this period of follow-up and care, he remained perfectly well, happy, and active. We also made a commitment to closely monitor every succeeding vaccination and follow-up appointment, ensuring that Heath received each recommended dose on schedule and that his overall health and well-being continued to be carefully observed throughout the entire process. What’s truly admirable is that the experience never changed his kind heart toward animals. Instead of letting the incident create fear, he continued to spend time with the cats and dogs around the shelter and care for them. He later shared with a smile that perhaps, in its own little way, it had already chosen them to be its family. Up to this date, his love for animals remains as strong as ever, proving how compassionate, understanding, and loving he is. We thank the Lord, Heath is safe, sound, and perfectly fine. Now that everything has been properly done and all necessary care has been completed, we can finally put our minds at ease. We would also like to sincerely apologize for the unintended incident. Our only intention was to let Heath experience something we knew would make him genuinely happy, knowing how much he loves and cares for animals. While everything was immediately addressed and resolved with his safety as our top priority, this experience has reminded us of the importance of being even more mindful and careful moving forward. We are grateful for everyone's understanding and will certainly carry the lessons from this experience with us. Please know that our hearts were simply in the hope of doing something meaningful, not only for Heath, but also for the animals waiting for love, care, and a second chance. Looking back, this experience will surely remain a memorable one for all of us, a reminder that even unexpected moments can lead to beautiful endings, lasting memories, and a forever home for a beloved cat. We are all eager to meet again this sweet baby soon. Thank you for your understanding and care for our beloved Heath. God bless you all.
