New MCP server for @formancehq exposes ledger, payments, reconciliation, and Numscript directly to any connected agent.
Ask it to draft a Numscript transaction, say split $99 90/10 between a merchant and platform fees, and it writes it, validates it, and returns the exact postings. No hand math.

Ask it to reconcile PSP payments against your ledger: it reads live state, matches externals 1:1, and correctly flags the two merchant purchases that also split off a platform fee as non-issues, since neither touches the outside world.

Formance's MCP server is live. Give Claude Code or Codex read-only access to your ledgers, accounts, balances, and reconciliation state, right in the conversation.

The Bank of Lithuania revoked UAB PAYRNET's authorization for "serious, systematic and multiple violations," including end-user funds that were not properly safeguarded. A daily balance-level reconciliation should have caught that.
Most reconciliation problems are ledger design problems that show up downstream. Balances drift, settlement gets complicated, audits get painful, because the entry structure was never built to hold up at volume.
