Keep it simple & ship!
If you're about to LAUNCH an app, here's an important consideration.
Many founders think of the "launch" as an event. A big thing. One shot. One opportunity.
That's wrong.
As an entrepreneur, you will launch again, and again, and again.
New feature? -> Launch.
New design? -> Launch.
New partnership? -> Launch.
For example, we do a launch every ~8 weeks at OpenVC.
This has so many benefits:
- Your current users see that you're active
- You get more chances to be seen by new users
- You get better at launching
The last point is key.
As you launch more and more, you will develop a playbook. You will get feedback from the market. You will learn what works for your company. Eventually, you will become a pro launcher and launches will be a regular "channel" in your marketing strategy.
So don't get stuck in "pre-launch" mode. This is a beginner's mistake.
Launch, and launch, and launch again. 🚀
